Silent Auction Hosted At Kendall Campus

Miami Dade College Kendall Campus, 11011 SW 104 St., is hosting a United Way Silent Auction on Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in building two,  in front of the breezeway at the Niles Trammel Learning Resource Center.

The Silent Auction will feature items such as two MDC reserved parking spaces, a hotel stay with breakfast, zoo and safari tickets, Dell tablets, gift cards and more.

Last year the auction raised $2,650 and their goal this year is $3,000.

The United Way is a community non-profit organization that offers programs to people in need.

Nicolette Perdomo, 19, is a Mass Communications/Journalism major in the Honors College at Kendall Campus. She will serve as Editor-In-Chief/Briefing Editor for the summer 2015 issue. During the 2015-2016 school year, Perdomo served as staff writer for The Reporter.Perdomo was home schooled and earned her high school diploma in 2013. She aspires to become a broadcast journalist.
