The exhibit Modern Utopia by Chinese artist Lu Chengxiang is featured at the Hialeah Campus art gallery, 1776 W. 49 St. in Room 2109 through Aug. 30.
Chengxiang’s ink paintings aim to subtly introduce the restlessness of modernity into traditionally inspired scenarios. He is an artist with an expertise in Chinese contemporary art.
Born in 1974 in Jiangxi, China, Chengxiang’s work has been featured in group exhibits in New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Beijing and Taipei.
