InterAmerican Campus: Discovering Sense Of Place In Little Havana

Earth Ethics Institute and the Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy are hosting Earth Days: Discovering Sense of Place in Little Havana symposium at InterAmerican Campus, 627 S.W. 27th Ave., from March 26 to April 2.

The symposium will feature activities and workshops by the CLEO Institute and IDEAS For Us, student presentations and guest speakers. The keynote speaker for the symposium will be the famous naturalist and award-winning photographer, Roger L. Hammer.

“This symposium will foster a stronger connection with Little Havana and surrounding neighborhoods as it focuses on sense of place, local ecology and environmental history,” said Michael Matthews, EEI program professional.
