Doctors Without Borders Starts Chapter At MDC

Miami Dade College’s Doctors Without Borders Chapter is looking for members.

The club focuses on educating and raising money for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, an international medical non-governmental organization that sends doctors and nurses to work in conflict zones. This is MDC’s first chapter.

To join, students need to pay a membership fee of $15, have at least a 2.0 GPA, attend bi-weekly meetings from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27th Ave., in Room A342.

Membership also includes a certificate of recognition and a T-shirt.
