The Grainger Tools for Tomorrow Scholarship program is offering 200 scholarships each worth $2,000.
The scholarships aim to increase the number of students pursuing degrees and careers in the skilled trade fields at nearly 100 community colleges across the United States. Winners of the scholarship can use the funds to pay tuition and books. Half of the scholarships are earmarked for U.S. veterans. They also provide recipients with a tool kit to help launch the student’s professional career.
To be eligible for the Grainger Tools for Tomorrow scholarship program you must be enrolled at one of the participating community colleges in a skilled trade or public safety program, taking 12 course credit hours per semester. Applicants must graduate from a community college or trade program in 2015 with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
