Walt Weiskopf will perform at the Wolfson Campus auditorium, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., in Room 1261 on Dec. 5 at noon.
Weiskopf, an American saxophonist, will be performing original work. He began his career at 21 in New York, where he performed with the Buddy Rich Big Band. Since then, Weiskopf has been behind numerous recordings as a leader and sideman.
The performance is part of Jazz at Wolfson Presents Series’ 2018-2019 season. The series was launched by Miami Dade College professor Michael Di Liddo. It’s the largest continuously operating free jazz series in Miami-Dade County.
The performance is free and open to the public.
