Student Dance Concert At NWSA

New World School of the Arts will present Spring Dances on April 24, 26 and 27 at the New World Dance Theater, 25 N.E. 2nd St., 8th floor at 7:30 p.m.

There will be a daytime performance on April 28 at 2 p.m.

The event will showcase NWSA College Dance students performing jazz, ballet and contemporary dances.

The performances were created by Miami Dade College dance faculty and outside choreographers. The show is influenced by the work of dance pioneers such as Merce Cunningham, Ohad Naharin, Eduardo Vilaro and others.

Tickets are available online for $15 at nwsa.mdc.edu/event-calendar-at-nwsa-mdc-edu/eventdetail/3619/-/spring-dances.html. MDC students and seniors have a discounted price of $5.
