The Miami Dade College Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104 St., will host the United Way Garage sale on October 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. outside of the computer courtyard in building 2.
Items sold will include household goods, toys, furniture, books and clothing.
The United Way is a community nonprofit organization offering programs to people in need, supporting programs in Miami-Dade County like breast and cervical cancer screenings for women, initiatives to feed and care for the elderly and people with disabilities and families in need.
