Miami Dade College’s Tower Theatre will present David Bowie Is, a documentary featuring the rocker’s life and work.
The film, directed by Hamish Hamilton, will screen on September 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tower Theatre in Little Havana, 1508 S.W. 8th St.
It is a retrospective on Bowie’s five-decade long career focusing on his evolution as an artist. The documentary delves into the inspirations behind the different personalities Bowie developed with his artwork, outfits and memorabilia. It includes an artistic analysis of Bowie’s music, his videos as well as his acting career.

Admission is $15 for the general public and $13 for MDC students and staff.
