Juan S. Gomez, a psychology student in The Honors College at Kendall Campus, has been promoted to forum editor at The Reporter.
The 19-year-old freshman joined the newspaper last August. He has written for the forum, briefing, news and sports sections.
“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work as an editor,” Gomez said. “I can help students communicate their ideas more clearly.”
Gomez, who was born in Bogotá, Colombia, in 2002, moved to Miami at the age of 10.
He graduated from Robert Morgan Educational Center in 2021 and aspires to work as a clinical psychologist.
