Power Poetry, an online poetry community, is offering a $1,000 education scholarship called #YOWO.
Students must submit an original poem about anything in their life, school, community, country or anything important to them.
In order to qualify, you must be 25 years of age or younger, a current or former high school student who will attend/ is attending college within the U.S., and submitted an original poem with the poetry slam tag You Only Write Once.

Deadline will be January 31, 2014.
