Miami Dade College will host a Picnic de Libros event at the Koubek Center, 2705 S.W. 3rd St., on April 8 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event aims to develop children’s interest in literature by exposing them to Miami’s rich cultural diversity. It will feature bilingual storytelling, theatrical and musical performances and arts and crafts. Free books, in English and Spanish, will be distributed at the event.
It’s free and open to the public.
