North Campus To Host STEM Summer Bridge Program

Miami Dade College’s North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27th Ave., is hosting the STEM Summer Bridge Program, a three-week initiative aimed at preparing first-year STEM students to succeed in mathematics and science courses. 

It will feature activities such as math and chemistry lectures and biology and chemistry labs. There will also be workshops on career advisement, financial literacy and the college transfer process. 

The program will run from July 15 – Aug. 2, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. 

A stipend of up to $500 will be provided upon completion of the program.
