The Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College is hosting visual artist William Osorio for an artist residency at the Eduardo J. Padrón Campus, 627 S.W. 27th Avenue, Room 3113 through Jan. 30.
Attendees are invited to observe and engage with Osorio’s artistic process.
The Cuban-born artist explores themes such as human behavior, migration, identity and issues of modern society.
He attended the School of Fine Arts in Holguin from 2005 to 2007 before emigrating to the United States.
“His ability to experiment, to try new things, while inspired by philosophy, psychology, literature, and his family, compelled us to invite him,” said Amy Galpin, MOAD’s executive director and chief curator.
