The New World School of the Arts College Opera Theatre Ensemble and NWSA Symphony Orchestra will be performing an Opera Production “Elixir of Love” on April 9 at 7:30 p.m. and April 10 at 2:30 p.m. at the Historic Lyric Theater, 819 N.W. Second Ave.
The performers will stage a full opera production with an orchestra. The comedy will be sung in Italian with subtitles projected above on the stage.
The same performance will be presented on both dates in April, said Rodney Miller, Director of College Opera Theatre Ensemble at the NWSA.
Guest director Ardean Landhuis will perform with the ensemble. The cost for general admission is $10, and $5 for students and seniors citizens.
