MDC President Receives Cuban American Leadership Award

Miami Dade College President  Eduardo J. Padrón was awarded the 2012 Leadership Award by the Cuban American National Council, last month.

The Council is a non-profit, human services organization focused on the socio-economic needs of Cuban Americans in the United States.

Padrón was also recently named one of TIME Magazine’s “10 Best College Presidents,” one of the eight most “influential college leaders” in the U.S. by The Washington Post and the “Floridian of the Year” by Florida Trend magazine.
