Kendall Event Focuses On Student Safety

A free, basic one time self defense training class aims to give the Miami Dade College community the power to stand up and be better prepared to protect themselves. The training will be facilitated by a public safety officer on Nov. 3 at the Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104th St., Room G208, at 3 p.m.

“We want to provide students with basic skills to protect themselves should they ever be in a situation that puts their safety at risk,” said Dion Webb, Student Life specialist at Kendall Campus.  “It’s just reassurance for our students that they have that knowledge to protect themselves should they need to.”
