MDC Seeks Part-Time Employees

Miami Dade College students with a 1.5 GPA or higher can apply to participate in the Federal Work-Study program dedicated to students who qualify for financial aid. The minimum time commitment for the program is two semesters.

Employees work part-time positions in various departments that adjusts to their class schedules and are paid from minimum wage to a higher wage depending on the job.

To apply for a job, students must demonstrate financial need by completing the electronic Free Application for Federal Student Aid for the 2017-2018 school year, have a high school diploma or its equivalent and pass an ability-to-benefit test approved by the United States Department of Education. International students can participate in the work-study program as long as they are eligible non-citizens.

The program gives students the opportunity to pursue a flexible work schedule while attending school and earn money to pay for their education.
