ACCESS Department At Kendall Has A New Director

Jennifer Kross began her post as the new director of ACCESS (A Comprehensive Center for Exceptional Student Services) Department at Kendall Campus in late November.

“The ACCESS Disability Services Department provides supportive services and equipment to students with documented disabilities to enable their success at Miami Dade College,” Kross said. “The position of Director coordinates the delivery and availability of these services as well as the adherence to state and federal laws.”

Kross has worked at Miami Dade College since 2009, first as Single Stop director at Wolfson and Kendall Campuses. Most recently, she served as the interim director of Single Stop and the interim director of Advisement and Career Services Department at North Campus.

Before working at the College, Kross obtained a bachelor’s degree from Drake University in sociology, and then completed a master’s in education from Florida International University. She is currently completing a doctorate in adult education and human resource development at FIU.
