Access Services Seeks Note-Taking Volunteers

The Access Services Department at North Campus is providing opportunities for students of all majors to complete their service hours as a note-taker for students with disabilities or temporary physical impairment.

“This is a great opportunity to learn and help others students, because some of these students rely on the notes to pass their classes,” said Crystal Miranda, Note Taking Supervisor at the Access Services Department.

Students interested in volunteering must have passed ENC 1101 with at least a B and have legible handwriting.

There is no deadline for an application to be filled out; however, positions are limited and based on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Students will go through an interview process with staff from the department prior to being accepted.
