Animation director Bill Buckley will speak at Art of Tech on Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E .2nd Ave., in Room 8106.
Buckley is an animation director at First Contact Entertainment, a California-based studio that develops virtual reality games. Buckley has worked on video games such as Call of Duty: Ghost, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Guitar Hero, NBA 2006 and NBA 2007.
Art of Tech is a speaker series under the Miami Dade College Foundation and Miami Animation & Gaming International Complex.
“Art of Tech is a speaker series that empowers, elevates and inspires innovation within the growing digital technologies industry,” said Mauricio Ferrazza, department chairperson for M.A.G.I.C. “This cross industry gathering features a series of keynotes and a week-long exhibitor area that explores digital technologies and creative industries. The speaker series brings together a wide spectrum of executive level professionals in the areas of computer animation, gaming, visual effects and motion graphics, virtual and augmented reality.”
