The Barry Goldwater $7,500 scholarship and excellence in education program is meant to make investments into students who want to pursue science, math, or engineering careers.
To apply, students must be a U.S. resident or citizen, a full-time sophomore or junior and have a 3.5 GPA.
Applicants must submit a two page essay discussing a significant issue in their chosen field of study, a college transcript, and three letters of recommendation
