Former Reporter Editor Lands Internship With Gray Television

Daniela Susana Molina, who served as editor-in-chief of The Reporter in the summer of 2016, has landed a paid internship with Investigate TV, a national investigative team for broadcasting company Gray Television

Molina will start the three-month, remote internship on June 1. She will write investigative stories that focus on the coronavirus pandemic.

“I’m looking forward to being able to learn more about how investigative stories start and what that process looks like, and work in a team with professionals who have been doing this for a very long time,” Molina said.

In the summer of 2017, Molina was a digital media intern at NBC6 in South Florida. A year later,  she worked at NBC6 and Telemundo 51 as a creative services intern.

Molina, 25, earned an associate’s degree in journalism from North Campus in 2016 and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University in 2019.

She currently works as a news content specialist for The Media School at IU, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in journalism. Molina also writes features for the Office of Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education.

While at The Reporter, Molina focused on crime and investigative stories. She was awarded second place for in-depth reporting by the Florida College System Activities Association in 2016.
