Homestead Campus To Host Financial Literacy Workshop

The Student Life Department at Homestead Campus is hosting the Financial Literacy workshop on June 24 from 1 to 2 p.m. via Zoom.

Attendees will primarily learn about credit card management, credit scores and interest rates. Part of the workshop will discuss modern trends in identity theft and discuss strategies to prevent becoming a victim.

The event is part of a week-long experience welcoming students into the Summer B semester. Other events include discussing the new Rising Black Scholars initiative on June 22, eating frozen yogurt at the campus’ Student Life patio on June 23, and watching the latest installment of the Fast and Furious movie series at Showbiz Cinemas on June 25.

Financial Literacy is free and open to the public.
