Othello Molineaux will perform at the Jazz at Wolfson Presents series at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., on April 3 at noon in Room 126.
Molineaux will use a steel drum to perform various original jazz compositions. The musician is known for introducing steel drums to the realm of jazz. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, he has performed with the likes of Herbie Hancock, Dizzy Gillespie, etc.
Jazz At Wolfson Presents is a year-round jazz series that features diverse jazz performers at MDC.
The event is free and open to the public.
