José Ignacio Valenzuela To Debut English Version Of Bestselling Book

Chilean author José Ignacio Valenzuela will be making the English-language debut of his bestselling book, To the End of the World, at Book & Books, 265 Aragon Ave, at 5 p.m. on Sept. 1. The event is hosted by the Miami Book Fair.

To the End of the World is about love and fantasy and is the first volume of the Malamor Trilogy.

“The Miami Book Fair prides itself in offering quality cultural events for the community,” said Inés Flores, program assistant of the Miami Book Fair. “This presentation is part of its year-round event programming to enrich the community and offer a variety of local, national, and international author presentations.”

Valenzuela has written more than 15 books and more than 20 telenovelas. He was nominated for an Emmy for his 2004 TV series, Amores, and was recognized by Dotdash.com, formerly About.com, as among the ten best, young Latin American writers.

The event is free and open to the public.
