The Jurado & Farshchian, P.L. scholarship is currently open to college students dedicated to serving their community.
The scholarship, a $1,000 prize, is available until June 30.
Applicants must submit a résumé and college transcripts. Students must write a 500-word essay that answers one of three community-service related prompts.
Eligible applicants must currently be enrolled or accepted into a U.S accredited college or university, have a history of community service and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Winners will be selected based on their essay and their community service contributions.
