Kendall Campus To Host Event Honoring Writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Kendall Campus professors and students will perform at a literary event on October 8 entitled “Living to tell the tale: Reading from the works of Gabriel Garcia Marquez.”

The event will take place in Room 6120 at Kendall Campus, 11011 SW 104 St., in the Alfred L. McCarthy Hall. It will run from 12 p.m. through 1:15 p.m. The event is free.

Theater students from professors Deborah Mello and Neil Olsen’s classes will guide the audience through key passages of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s  work, which includes fiction, nonfiction, novels, short stories, poetry and plays.
