Channel 7 news anchor, Belkys Nerey, will speak at North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27 Ave., as part of the campus’ Women’s History Month programming.
Nerey, will speak on March 11 at 11 a.m. in Room 3238-3239. She will be discussing her career path as a woman and what she did to get her where she is today.
Nerey, a North Campus graduate, is an Emmy award-winning journalist for WSVN. Before becoming one of the station’s most recognizable news anchors, she co-anchored the celebrity news show, Deco Drive. She currently co-anchors the 5, 6 , 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
