The Miami Dade College Cheer and Spirit Club is looking for new students to join their squad for the 2020-21 season.
Tryouts will be held at A1 Athletics, 20841 Johnson Street, in Pembroke Pines on Oct. 27 and Oct. 29 from 7:30-10 p.m.
To be eligible, students must be at least a part-time student at any MDC campus. There is a $10 tryout fee for all newcomers. Candidates can wear a royal blue or black tank top, T-shirt, shorts and athletic shoes. Female candidates can wear leggings.
No prior cheering experience is required but some experience is preferred.
