MDC Piano Faculty To Perform Russian Composer Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures

Miami Dade College professors Virginia Covarrubias and Joseph Talleda will perform Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures At An Exhibition on April 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104th St., Room 6120.

The music focuses on paintings by the Russian artist Victor Hartmann. Originally written for one piano, Talleda and Covarrubias will perform a two-piano version. Art pieces by MDC students from professor Kseniya Joksovic’s art studio will also be showcased.

The concert is free and open to the public.
