The Miami Dade College General Scholarship is now open to all MDC students for this summer, and the fall and spring semesters.
Deadlines to apply are March 31 for the summer and May 1 for the fall and spring. The information provided is used to match students with one of about 300 different scholarship opportunities, so awards will vary.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled in at least six degree-seeking credits for the semester when the scholarship is awarded.
Students must fill out an application and answer two long-response questions: one about the challenges they overcame to study at MDC and another one about how MDC can change their future.
Decisions for the summer semester will be sent out the last week of April. Fall and spring applicants will be notified the first week of July.
