MDC Students Can Join Softbank’s New Tech Operator Program

Miami Dade College students can learn how to become tech operators through the SoftBank Operator School, a program that offers masterclasses from experienced entrepreneurs about how to run a tech startup in South Florida and Latin America.

The program runs from Aug. 26 to Nov. 28 and will take place every Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Attendees can earn college credit through masterclasses such as The Power of Tech Startups and Making Data-Driven Decisions. They will receive complimentary workshops, information about career opportunities, capstone projects, and more.

Students who attend at least nine out of 12 masterclasses will also receive a certificate.

The SoftBank Operator School was created in partnership with SoftBank Group International and is open to students from MDC, Florida International University and the University of Miami.
