Museum of Art + Design Offering Work Study Program

Students interested in a work study program at Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art + Design are now able to search, view, and apply for positions online.

Assistants will gain hands on experience handling artwork, preparing museum and gallery spaces, as well as working directly with exhibiting artists and curators.

Some duties will include, being responsible for opening and closing the museum or gallery, welcoming visitors, answering phone calls and email inquiries professionally. Student assistants are also responsible for daily inspection of artwork, reporting problems and/or crisis to a supervisor.
