New Outlet For Gamers At Wolfson Campus

The Video Game Association at Wolfson Campus is aiming to officially become an organization for hardcore gamers and techies.

The club holds meetings every Tuesday in Room 1728 where Miguel Diaz, a computer information system major and president of VGA, informs participants of up and coming technology and the latest from the world of gaming.

Diaz says that VGA plans to develop its very own video game through member donations and funds collected from future planned game tournaments. The club plans to educate students on the tedious work of game development as well as the business aspects that go along with it.

Sporting Converse shoes and long hair, Diaz is a walking brain when he explains technology. His dream is to own his own development company, and he seeks dedicated students from MDC who are interested in learning the ropes of developing game engines and interactive android applications.

“Link up with VGA to keep up with tech news and play or create video games,” Diaz said. “And game on!”
