New Workforce Readiness Program At Miami Dade College

The new, soon-to-be opened department, Workforce Education and Development at Miami Dade College, will focus on employment related workshops, internship opportunities, résumé guidance and one-on-one career coaching.

“We are here to help students find and prepare for internships,” said Angela Smith, who will coach and help students network with employers.

The office is currently in development and should be operational by late February. It will have a presence at all MDC campuses, and its services will be available to all students.

For more information about the new department, contact Angela Smith at 305-237-1280 or the director of Workforce Education and Development, Matthew Tanner, at 305-237-7260.
