North Campus Appoints Interim Honors College Director

Arthur Saint-Cyr started as the interim Honors College director at North Campus on June 9.

He’s serving in that role while Shane Johnson is on leave. Saint-Cyr will help Honors College students with registration and academic advisement while continuing to serve as the Honors College Student Success Coach, a position he has held since August of 2021.

“I hope to be a steadying force for the college and help students move forward,” Saint-Cyr said.

Prior to Miami Dade College, Saint-Cyr worked as a tour guide/delegate for the Center for Academic Retention & Enhancement at Florida State University while he was an undergrad student. In 2018, he served as the assistant summer bridge coordinator and then as an abuse counselor for the Department of Children and Families for 11 months.

In 2019, he started as an admissions recruiter for Florida Memorial University where he worked for almost two years

Saint-Cyr, 27, obtained his bachelor’s degree in family and child sciences from Florida State University in 2017. In May, he obtained a master’s of business administration degree from Florida Memorial University.
