North Campus Selects New Director Of Recruitment Services

Lorraine Wright was appointed as the new director of recruitment services at North Campus on Dec. 5.

Wright, 36, will oversee the North Campus recruitment department, which is responsible for new student recruitment, admission and enrollment.

“I’m very passionate about recruiting in enrollment, ensuring that our students get an affordable and attainable education in their community,” Wright said.

Prior to her current role, Wright served as the North Campus student life director for five years. Previously, she served as a student life specialist from 2013 to 2016 and a one-year stint as an Educate Tomorrow coordinator for Single Stop.

From 2009 to 2011, she served as a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sister of America—a non-profit organization that assists children in underrepresented neighborhoods. Throughout her tenure as student life director, she also volunteered as a teacher for the Kids and the Power of Work, a program promoting career awareness among elementary students.

Wright obtained her bachelor’s degree in public safety management from North Campus in 2011. Two years later, she earned a master’s degree in criminal justice from Florida International University.
