Organist Jared Gold To Perform At The Next Jazz At Wolfson Presents

Jazz at Wolfson Presents is hosting organist Jared Gold at the Wolfson Campus Auditorium, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Room 1261, on Oct. 9 at noon.

Gold, a graduate from William Paterson University’s jazz program, was named DownBeat magazine’s Critics Poll Rising Star in 2013.

He has recorded eight albums under Posi-tone Records and is the founder of JG3 Tech, a company that produces portable organ pedalboards. His most recent album, Reemergence, features jazz musicians Dave Stryker, Billy Hart and Jeremy Pelt.

For the past 15 years, Gold has been a member of Stryker’s Trio. They have produced 10 albums for Strikezone Records and opened for Steely Dan, an American rock jazz band, in 2022.

Jazz at Wolfson Presents is an annual series that invites jazz musicians to perform at Miami Dade College. All events are free and open to the public.
