Colorful Lights: An LED-illuminated Macaw rests atop a porch at the Luminosa: A Festival Of Light event at Jungle Island. More than a million LED Chinese lanterns are lit up across 13 acres that depict colorful scenes of jungle and Miami life until Feb. 9.

AquaLit: Giant LED-illuminated jellyfish were on display at Luminosa Park at Jungle Island on Jan. 11 as part of the Luminosa: A Festival Of Lights. Chinese artisans handcrafted the festival’s life-sized depictions of Chinese lanterns across the 13 acres of the park.
