Read To Learn Books For Free, Partners With Navarro In Hopes Of Increasing Children’s Reading Levels

Navarro has partnered up with Read to Learn Books for Free, a program developed by the Miami Dade College called The Miami Children’s Trust at The Center for Literature and Theatre, in order to encourage children and parents to read together by giving away books at highly visited locations which include of health clinics, the Juvenile Justice Center, and Community Action and Human Service agencies.

Read to Learn Books for Free, will make reading for parents and adults more accessible by placing green donation bins within Navarro Pharmacy stores for the public to donate new and gently used books as well as book gift cards.

The goal is to have all Miami-Dade students read on or above grade level by the time they reach the third grade.
