Plant health care retailer Arborjet is offering a $1,000 scholarship to graduating high school seniors with an interest in plant sciences, forestry, horticulture, entomology and any other environmental science. The deadline to apply is June 30.
Applicants must be U.S. legal residents or citizens and plan to enroll at a full-time undergraduate program at a two-year or four-year college for the 2017-2018 academic year. The candidates will be judged by their academic performance, career and education goals, circumstances, outside recommendation and community service.
All applications must be sent to One Scholarship Way Saint Peter, Minnesota. The form, found on scholarshipamerica.org requires a copy of the students’ transcripts and a recommendation from an adult.
Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying applicants. The funds will be released to the winners on Aug. 1.
