Service Learning Offered At Ability Explosion

For the second consecutive year, in an effort to raise awareness of those with disabilities and get the community involved in a philanthropic matters, Miami Dade College will be offering both community service and service learning hours to student participants of Ability Explosion.

Ability Explosion is a non-profit, week long series of events that take place from Oct. 19 through Oct. 23 with a primary focus on improving the lives of people with diverse disabilities. It will be held on South Beach.

The events include a dining in the dark experience, a 5K run, street performances and comedy shows. Each event is separately priced and can be accessed and purchased via their website.
