The California-based Furzymarketing.com is offering single mothers a $750 scholarship for the spring and winter semesters running through the 2015-2016 school year.
The scholarship is offered to students who are enrolled in six credits at a two-year school, four-year college or graduate school.
Applicants must write a 450-700 word prompt on the subject, “How can single mothers use ROTH IRAs to enhance their financial position?”
Students must also have a minimum college GPA of 2.3 and must be at least 18 years of age.
The funds will be disbursed toward the student’s tuition and fees.
The deadline to apply is Oct. 15. The winner will be announced on Oct. 22
