Space Scholarship Fund Available To Underrepresented Students

Students can apply for the Space Scholarship Fund scholarship until Dec. 31.

Three $4,000 scholarships will be awarded to underrepresented students in the Miami-Dade and Broward counties who are planning to pursue careers in the arts or hospitality industries. 

Eligible applicants must fulfill one or more of the following criteria: identify as Black, Indigenous or a person of color (including Latinx, Asian and mixed-race), be an undocumented resident of the United States, or have Temporary Protected Status or DACA.

They must also be high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores or juniors at an accredited institution.

Students must submit an application, a recent photograph of themselves, and an official or unofficial school transcript. They must also present an essay describing what differentiates them from other applicants, a challenging personal or family circumstance, or their educational and career goals.
