The Student Life at Homestead Campus is offering free tickets to Miami Dade College students for a screening of the 2020 film The Photograph.
The film will be shown at ShowBiz Cinemas, 100 S. Krome Ave., on Feb. 14 at 2 p.m.
The Photograph revolves around the death of photographer Christina Eames and is told from the perspective of her grieving daughter, Mae. In the movie, Mae comes across a photograph of her mother in a safe-deposit box, which leads to falling in love with a journalist.
The film is directed by Stella Meghie. It also stars Lakieth Stanfield, best known for playing Darius in Atlanta, and Issa Rae, known for her role in Insecure.
Popcorn, drinks and snacks will be available. Attendees should sign up at Student Life by Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.
