Tower Theater Presents The Film The Clan

Miami Dade College’s Tower Theater, 1508 S.W. Eighth St., will screen Pablo Trapero’s award-winning film The Clan, in Spanish with English subtitles starting March 25.

The Argentine crime-film is based on the true story of the Puccio familya seemingly normal family that kidnapped and murdered innocent people in Buenos Aires. After becoming unemployed, Arquimedes Puccio (Guillermo Francella) starts kidnapping members of upper-class families and demanding ransoms in complicity with his son Alejandro Puccio (Peter Lanzani).

The film has received multiple awards, including a 2016 Academy Award (Oscars) and a 2015 Miami International Film Festival Audience Award.

Tickets are $7 for MDC students, $9 for MDC faculty and staff members, and $11.50 for general admission.
