Miami Dade College pitcher Herick Hernandez and right fielder Wooyeol Shin were selected to the Florida College System Athletic Association First-Team.
Shin led the Sharks offense in almost every major offensive category this season including home runs (15), RBI (47), batting average (.407) and slugging percentage (.772). The sophomore was second on the team in doubles with 16.
Hernandez posted a 8-3 record, 90 strikeouts and a 2.86 earned run average. The left-hander was also selected as the Southern Conference Pitcher of The Year.
Center fielder Max Galvin was selected to the FCSAA second-team. He led the Sharks in doubles with 17 and added 41 RBI, six home runs and a .400 batting average.
