All student parking spaces at West Campus will be unavailable due to construction starting June 18, according to West Campus officials.
College employees can still park at West Campus.
Prior to the closing, a number of parking spots were open to students on first-come first-serve basis.
Students must park at the overflow lot located at Miami International Mall, 1455 NW 107th Avenue.
The overflow lot can be found on the southeast section of the mall across from Kohl’s and JCPenny, it has been reserved for MDC students; signs will be posted by the entrance of Kohl’s to help students find the parking lot.
Students must provide their MDC ID and parking decal to enter the overflow lot and use the shuttles.
Shuttle buses will pick up students from the overflow lot and West Campus throughout the day. In addition, Public Safety officers will be stationed at the overflow lot to assist students.
