Plant health care retailer Arborjet is offering a $1,000 scholarship to graduating high school seniors with an interest in plant sciences, forestry, horticulture, entomology and any other environmental science. The deadline to apply is June 30. <\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants must be U.S. legal residents or citizens and plan to enroll at a full-time undergraduate program at a two-year or four-year college for the 2017-2018 academic year. The candidates will be judged by their academic performance, career and education goals, circumstances, outside recommendation and community service. <\/span><\/p>\n

All applications must be sent to One Scholarship Way Saint Peter, Minnesota. The form, found on scholarshipamerica.org<\/span><\/strong><\/a> requires a copy of the students\u2019 transcripts and a recommendation from an adult. <\/span><\/p>\n

Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying applicants. The funds will be released to the winners on Aug. 1.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
